MLM business building  is not selling.  It’s a people to people relationship.

The phone rings just when you are sitting down to dinner.  It’s a salesman.  Do you feel how annoying that is?  We don’t like to be sold to. And you don’t want to do that to anyone else.
And you certainly don’t want to build a business that way.
But this is the way most companies teach you to do it. Sell and close.

If nobody wants to be sold, how can you build a business that way? What works is to build a relationship with people.  Learn to listen and understand their frustrations.  Find out what they really want in life.  Work together to help them achieve their dreams. This is a duplicatable system.  You can’t build a business by training people to sell.

Social Marketing Tips

The first building block of your social marketing business

is a blog. There are a number of free sites to set up your

blog.  But I’ve had the experience of suddenly and

unexpectedly being kicked off.  No backup.  Now I have my

own webhost.  Posting twice a week is a minimum goal. 

Every day is better.

Making friends on social websites is next.  Getting to

know people is a conversation. Listening, caring, just

like people you meet every day.  Standing on the table and

shouting a sales pitch does not work.  People like to deal

with real people they know like and trust.  Social

marketing is about relationships.

Help others in forums.  Don’t just push your deal. Share

and respond to problems.  And ask your own questions.

Putting your website in your signature is usually OK.

Social networking is not a quick way to get rich, but it’s

a way to develop a relationship with your business

prospects.

People don’t join a business because of the product.  Every MLM has good products.  They don’t join because of your company.  They join because of you.  You care.  You can help them succeed.
So what is your web page advertising?  Is it your wonderful product?  Or your wonderful company? 
They want to know first - can I do it?  Can you help me? Do you have a system?
Back to your webpage.  Where is your picture.  Tell your MLM story.  Let people know who you are and that you have a system to help them succeed. 
So market yourself first and then your company.
People join people.  They don’t join companies.

Build Your MLM Business - Level After Level Deep

Question :  How can I build my MLM business?  How can I get my MLM downline people started?

Why doesn’t your business build?  Why are you losing people?  Frustrated, you ask your upline.  Answer.  You are too fat, need to grow a beard, change your voice, too old, too shy, need to dye your hair, get your 100 no’s, make a list of 1,000 people, buy more leads.  No! It’s not your fault.

I got those answers too.  (Except-grow a beard.)  Wrong.  All wrong.  You don’t need to change.  You are perfect just the way you are.  The problem is the system.

Marketing With Signature Files

A powerful free marketing tool is your signature file.

Signature files are a great way to promote your online business without offending the people who read your messages.  E-mails are forwarded all the time. You never know where yours may end up, and one of the recipients may be very interested in your service or product.

Hit enter one more time after your e-mail.  Keep your signature  file to no more than 4-6 lines.

Your signature file should contain the following information:

   Your name
   Marketing slogan or information showing the clear benefits of contacting you.
   Give an offer for a free report or product you offer, a hyperlink to your latest press release, article, or Web site feature, or an invitation to subscribe to your free e-newsletter.
   Include a call to action such as: Download now… Get your free…Click Here To Learn More
   Website address
   E-mail address
   Phone

Make sure that when you include your Web site address that you add the “http://” before your site’s URL. Make your link clickable. Once a reader does click through your sig line, do you have a way to capture their contact info so you can stay in touch? If appropriate, offer something free to collect their email addresses. Offering a discounted item or freebie is always a good idea.

Before you start using the signature, double check all the information.  Proofread it.
Mail it to yourself.

Have several signatures that you can switch. By creating several different signature files and storing them as templates you can pick and chose which ones you want to use. Feature your current offer or product.

It’s effective to use a single — or double === divider across the top and/or across the bottom of the signature.

Use your signature file in every forum posting.  Read the forum rules.  Your name and URL may be enough.

Tell Your MLM Story

To succeed in this business, you have to find the real you and tell your MLM story. Look around. Every successful Network Marketer has developed his or her own powerful story.  People join people and it’s the most successful Marketers that have the most intriguing stories. They always tell their story, no matter if it’s for their products or their business opportunity.

Prospects don’t want to learn about things they’ll usually see on a company’s replicated website. They want to know who you are. You have to promote yourself first! And the best way to do that is to tell your own story.

Telling your story is one of the most powerful techniques you could ever learn because you can start building a relationship with your prospect before you even pick up the phone.

You can show your prospect you’re a real person who is here to help them succeed.

Let people see you’ve been through what they’re going through.  In some cases you may have been through much worse.  And  now your life has changed dramatically. You’re living proof your MLM product, or your MLM Business actually “works” and gets results.

So tell your MLM story, tell it well, and tell it often.

How to Find Your Own Leads

DO NOT BUY LEADS!  And I don’t mean make a list of 200 people you know.  The best leads are the people who come to you.  I’m not promoting pay-per-click either.  You know what’s on your credit card.  No more charges.
First of all, set up a website that captures prospect information.  Offer some sort of incentive.  Advertise using traffic exchanges, social networks, forums, or perhaps your own blog.
